Hello friends! I was on such a happiness high after spending time with with Natalie and Eli during their engagement session. They are one of the sweetest couples ever! The way they look at each other just warms your heart (as you'll see looking through their photos). I love their love story because it is such a rare one. I definitely don't know another couple who met they way these two did.
Natalie & Eli actually met through Eli's mother...by chance. Natalie is on track to becoming a nurse and when she is not in classes she works at The Ritz, a beautiful dress shop in our home town of Portsmouth, OH. Back in December Eli's mother and his younger sister were in the shop looking for a prom dress. Natalie noticed that Eli's mother kept glancing over at her specifically. Natalie, being the sweet girl that she is, made her way over to Eli's mother asking if she could help them. His mother went on to let Natalie know how beautiful she was and wondered if she had a boyfriend. Natalie was very surprised by this statement and question and answered, "No, I'm not seeing anyone right now". You can probably guess that Eli's mom began telling Natalie about Eli. After continuing to talk with her future mother-in-law for another 10 minutes Eli's mom gave Natalie his Facebook information and left. The girls in the shop immediately told her that she had to meet this guy. Natalie was not interested in meeting a guy she only heard of through his mother during a random encounter. She says in the end she only contacted Eli because the girls made her; and she is so glad they did. Eli and Natalie decided to meet and they were both quickly shocked by how much they actually liked each other and all they had in common. They soon became an official couple. They both laughed as they shared their love story with me. I absolutely loved it!
I love seeing a couple so deeply in love and I definately saw that with these two. There were times while I was taking their pictues that I could hear Eli tell Natalie how much he loved her or how beautiful she looked. I know their wedding day will be so beautiful. Natalie and Eli will be getting married on June 2, 2018! Their wedding date is a little under two years away because Eli is a proud member of the Marines and for the next three years he will be stationed in North Carolina. They are preparing for a season of long distance in their relationship which can be tough but I have no doubt it will actually bring them closer together in their relationship.
